Procedure:
You should allow 45 minutes for the medical. The Doctor will go through your medical history and then undertake a thorough physical examination consisting of height, weight, urine, vision, examination of your respiratory, cardiovascular, abdominal, neurological and musculoskeletal systems.

The medical form, this can be downloaded at the top of this page
1 recent passport photo
Your passport
Your glasses or contact lenses
Copies of any significant hospital letters, abnormal smear results etc
Locations:
The medical is carried out at GP Matters (24 Buckingham Terrace, G12 8ED, Glasgow) by Dr Carole McAlister and the chest x-ray is carried out at the Nuffield Hospital (25 Beaconsfield Road, Glasgow, G12 0PJ), we will arrange it for you after or before your medical.
After your South African Visa Medical:
Please allow 5 days for your medical to be finalised. This may then be collected, posted, or e-mailed to you.
Fees
South Africa Visa Medical - £400 (including X-Ray)
Please note that in the event that your Visa is not granted we cannot refund the cost of your South Africa Visa Medical.
